英文が日本語での説明と大きく食い違っているというポストがあって調べてみた。

TL;DR

大きく食い違ってはいない。

しかし、英語原文は誤解を招く書き方であり、運営の姿勢としてまずい点がある。

(1) の「ANYCOLOR所属の他ライバーの意向を無視する形でのANYCOLOR関係者の創作物等の無断利用」について、所属ライバーからクレームがあり、信頼関係が悪化したことを前提としているが、日本語・英語どちらもそれが伝わらない文章。

その上、英語では、原因ついての言及がないまま「セレンと所属ライバーとの関係が悪化した」として、「所属ライバーが不当な行為をしていないと信じる」と書いている。

このような書き方では「所属ライバーがセレンに対して不当な行為をしていた可能性がある」と曲解されてしまいかねない。

感想

英語原文は、経緯の説明がところどころ抜け落ちていて、それが致命的。

所属ライバーが配信活動に集中できる環境を整えることが目的ならば、所属ライバーとの関係については特に重要な事柄のはず。

それなのに書かれていない。これでは運営の姿勢を問われても仕方がない。

英語原文を読んでみて、このポストに対して海外ファンがヒートアップする理由がわかった気がする。

ただし、激しいポストをしている海外ファンたちは、セレン本人による主張が正しいことを前提として批判をしているが、その主張の真偽は不明である。

それはもちろん、ANYCOLORの主張についても同じ。

つまり、現時点では、真偽についてどれだけ議論しても何もわからない。

真偽ではなく、運営会社の対応として、これはまずい、という感想。
